Over recent decades, science has moved from the background of society to its very centre. Driven by accelerating discoveries and the rise of new technologies, it now shapes our ways of life, our decisions, and the way we imagine the future.
This transformation raises a fundamental question: how do we ensure that science remains accessible, understandable, and meaningful to everyone? SciencEscape was born from this necessity.
In 2021, a group of geoscientists — all holding PhDs and working at the frontiers of environmental research — chose to step outside the laboratory. Confronted daily with the complexity of global challenges and the difficulty of making them visible beyond academic circles, they founded a non-profit organisation with a clear mission: to bring science back to the heart of society through the power of audiovisual storytelling.
Their idea is simple, yet demanding: science is not just something you explain. It is something you live.
