How to Support Us?

 

The main objective of SciencEscape is to make science accessible to as many people as possible through the production of audiovisual content distributed via various channels. In 2021, we were recognized as a public utility organization by the Canton of Geneva, a status that fully reflects the values and commitments of SciencEscape.

In a continuous effort to improve our productions and to carry out numerous projects, SciencEscape now has several full-time staff members. Every support we receive helps us continue our mission and amplify our impact.

Individuals

• Make a donation: As a recognized public utility association, every donation above CHF 100 is tax-deductible for individuals working or residing in Switzerland. Donations are deductible from the Federal Direct Tax (IFD) and the Cantonal and Communal Tax (ICC). In most Swiss cantons, deductions can reach up to 20% of the donor’s net income.

Legal entities

 

Legal entities can support us under the same conditions as individuals (provided their headquarters are located in Switzerland) or through sponsorship. These options offer a great opportunity to develop and increase your visibility both nationally and internationally by supporting a non-profit organization recognized as a public utility.

How Will Your Contribution Be Used?

 

As a non-profit organization, all funds raised by SciencEscape are used solely to achieve its core mission: producing educational scientific audiovisual content accessible to everyone. The main expenses we face are:

• Staff salaries. SciencEscape currently has several collaborators

• Purchase of audiovisual equipment

• Operating costs

• Development and production of projects

• Organization of public screenings, exhibitions, school workshops, etc.
