With Latitude 46, SciencEscape is developing a series of 12 biweekly videos, each 8 to 12 minutes long, offering audiences across French-speaking Switzerland a fresh perspective on the natural and human sciences. Each episode will start from a topic rooted in the region to explore a scientific question, discovery or phenomenon that is often overlooked or rarely explored in mainstream media.

Hosted by Giovan Peyrotty and created in collaboration with La Souris Verte, the series will combine engaging, accessible storytelling with studio and on-location filming, archival footage, illustrations, animations and other visual resources. The aim is to offer a different way of experiencing science, bringing compelling stories to life from sometimes complex topics while maintaining the scientific rigour that is central to SciencEscape’s identity.

With Latitude 46, we aim to create a regular rendezvous around science in French-speaking Switzerland and introduce audiences to a wide range of topics connected both to their everyday lives and to the region they call home.
