“Invisibles” is a science communication project built around a 26-minute documentary that takes us deep into the microbial world of the Arctic. The film highlights fascinating scientific discoveries and explores how polar regions are changing in response to climate change. Through the work of scientists, both in the field and in the laboratory, it offers a new perspective on the living world: one where cooperation, adaptability and evolution are written into the smallest forms of life.

Designed as a genuine tool for sharing scientific knowledge, Invisibles will be developed across different formats and for a variety of audiences. Alongside screenings, festivals, and online and television broadcasts, the project will include the creation of an original comic book, conceived as an extension of the documentary.

The comic book will be created by Marie, aka Gleam Kah, a graduate in Graphic Arts and Illustration from École Brassart in Annecy, who is joining the SciencEscape team for this project. Through drawing, she will bring a new dimension to the microbial world explored in the film and offer another way of discovering the scientific phenomena and environmental changes reshaping the Arctic.
