This video presents the current state of progress of geothermal energy in Switzerland and France. Michel Meyer, geologist and manager of the geothermal program within the Service Industriels de Genève (SIG), explains the different solutions for exploiting geothermal energy in these two countries as well as the projects already that are already underway.

​This video was designed to be broadcast during the Energy Transition Conference held in May 2022 in Geneva. The key message during the conference was about pooling the expertise from each country and moving forward as effectively as possible in the spirit of collaboration.
